Agreement and relationship to DeepAstra terms
Kwnx is a DeepAstra product. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Kwnx, you agree to these Kwnx Terms and the DeepAstra Terms of Service. If you use Kwnx on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
These terms supplement the DeepAstra Terms of Service. The DeepAstra terms control for the wider platform; these terms control for Kwnx-specific features. If you do not agree, do not use Kwnx.
Research preview
Kwnx is provided as a research preview. Features may be incomplete, change materially, contain errors, or be suspended. You should not rely on preview functionality for safety-critical, production-critical, or regulated decisions without independent safeguards and review.
Eligibility, accounts, and devices
- You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- You must provide accurate account information and protect your credentials and registered devices.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account, device sessions, connected tools, and permission choices.
- Notify DeepAstra promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a compromised device.
Local execution and your responsibility
Kwnx can read files, edit code, run commands, use connected tools, and perform Git operations on your device according to the runtime mode and permissions you choose. These actions can alter or delete data, expose information to connected services, or introduce defects.
You remain responsible for reviewing proposed actions and outputs, maintaining backups and version control, protecting secrets, selecting appropriate permissions, and testing changes before deployment. Do not grant Kwnx access to systems or data you are not authorized to use.
AI models and outputs
Kwnx uses AI models made available through DeepAstra Orchestration. Model availability, routing, capabilities, and results may vary. Outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, non-unique, or unsuitable for your use case.
You must evaluate outputs, including source code, commands, legal or security statements, and technical recommendations, before using or sharing them. Kwnx is not a substitute for professional judgment.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Kwnx for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or rights-infringing activity.
- Do not bypass access controls, safety measures, usage limits, or device permission boundaries.
- Do not introduce malware, attack third-party systems, or access data without authorization.
- Do not reverse engineer or redistribute proprietary parts of Kwnx except where applicable law or an open-source license permits it.
- Your use must comply with applicable law, the DeepAstra acceptable-use requirements, and third-party terms for connected services.
Your content and intellectual property
You retain your rights in code, prompts, files, and other content you provide, and in outputs to the extent permitted by applicable law. You grant DeepAstra a limited license to process content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the services in accordance with your settings, agreements, and the Kwnx Privacy Notice.
DeepAstra and its licensors retain all rights in Kwnx, its branding, software, services, documentation, and underlying systems. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses.
Software license and updates
Subject to these terms, DeepAstra grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Kwnx on supported devices. Kwnx may check for, download, and install signed updates. Updates can add, change, or remove features and may be required for security or continued access.
Third-party services
In the DeepAstra cloud deployment, Kwnx may connect to model providers, MCP servers, source-control platforms, hosting services, and other third-party products that you choose. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. DeepAstra is not responsible for third-party products or for instructions you authorize Kwnx to send to them.
Optional cloud connectors can include Google Workspace and Microsoft services. They operate only within the permissions you approve. You are responsible for reviewing requested scopes, protecting connected accounts, and confirming actions before Kwnx performs them. Private on-premises and air-gapped deployments are designed to operate without third-party cloud services for full sovereignty. Additional details appear in the Kwnx Privacy Notice.
Plans, usage, and payment
The research preview may be offered without charge or with promotional limits. Future plans, credits, and paid capabilities will be shown before purchase and will be governed by the applicable DeepAstra subscription and payment terms. Usage limits and model availability may change with reasonable notice.
Availability, suspension, and termination
We may modify, pause, or discontinue Kwnx, and may restrict or terminate access when required by law, security, platform integrity, non-payment, or a breach of applicable terms. You may stop using Kwnx at any time and can request account deletion through DeepAstra subject to legal retention requirements.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Kwnx is provided “as is” and “as available,” especially during the research preview. To the maximum extent permitted by Omani law, DeepAstra disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free code, accurate output, or fitness for a particular purpose.
The limitations of liability in the DeepAstra Terms of Service apply to Kwnx. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and disputes are subject to the competent courts in Muscat, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. We may update these terms and will provide notice of material changes as required by law.
